Mmm. I never envisioned spooking 3 yr olds.I stuck 'em in more as a bit of joke to be honest (they aren't quick enough to be truly subliminal), since I intended for them to be more obvious so folks would notice them and maybe have a chuckle. Thanks for the feedback, maybe check out my blog. There's some interesting stuff there you might enjoy looking at (you can feel good to know that there are no spooky hypnotic messages to buy anything too). Thanks again,Cheers,Steve.

Lovely video except for the attempts at subliminal messages. I watched with my three yr old son and it was a scary for him. Maybe think about it that way. Otherwise, a great video. As a consumer, I would not buy your art since it was delivered this way- it really interrupts the flow of the lovely birds.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.I haven't seen any here in Santa Fe yet (but others have), but I have noticed hummingbird hawk moths laying eggs on plants in the garden.

I am truly fascinated with this video. I love hummers and sent this to all my children in time for Mother day. I have 2 hummingbird feeders here in Mississippi and we have had hummers since 3-16-08. Thanks you so much for this awesome video.

Hey, at least I made something beautiful first, so I could uglify it up a bit.You know a lot of youtubers simply record snippets from the tv and post them. Not very creative in my view. It's good to mess things up a bit, if my creations were too good I might start to think I'm some kind of smarty pants or something.Anyway, thanks for the beautiful comment, although I'm sad you added the ugly bit at the end.

Beautiful hummingbird video. One of the best I've ever seen. The inserted ads were crass and distasteful. Too bad you have so little common sense. One ad at the end would have done so much more. This is a case of less is more. You took something so beautiful and added a little bit of ugly.

My wife tells me it's a purple princess tree.In answer to the next comment, the thing at 00:50 is a baby hummer projectile pooping over the edge of the nest. Sorry, I hit 'remove' instead of 'reply'. My mistake.

REALLY liked the video. Amazing that you could get so close up. I'm tring to start my own nesting. What type of shrub or tree is this? Thanks

sprichbee's reaction is not that uncommon, people tend to look at things as art or commerce, the trick is changing that perception so they don't feel used. Drop me an email sometimes if you want to talk about ways of getting your art out there more.Chaseps. great video, i didnt like the subliminal ads either, lol

Totally enjoyed this video! I am anxiously awaiting the return of mine. Although we have lots and lots of hummers, I've yet to see a nest! Thanks! |
