We had a few feet …
We had a few feet of wooden platform outside our patio doors about 2 feet off the ground, on which I put my tripod at maxed out hight.
It was fun watching them, and I was really lucky to get the pair leaving I must admit!

You made a GREAT vidio, however, I kept seeing a dead rat!!! I am 50 years old and thought I was seeing things, I had to back that tape alot to see the rat was really there!! I thought I was the only one taking pics of dead mice and rats….lol.

I only noticed because one kept hovering around the same bit of bush outside my window.
I’d never have found it otherwise, and even when I knew where it was it was still hard to find.
Hope you find one, lately I’ve been watching some long eared owls grow up near our house.
No video though.
