they dont fear men … they dont fear men because I’m sure they’re so fast that they’re watching us in slow motion, they know we cant get them! 0_o Impressive
I live in Brazil … I live in Brazil and I have many hummings backyards. I thought about putting a feeder but I stopped when I heard it makes the birds lazy to find food….
Yes . . . It’s like … Yes . . . It’s like we are the visitors to their territory. lol At times, when I was replacing the feeder, they would start feeding while I was still holding it.
This was in the … This was in the Kootenays – Christina Lake in the spring. There’s a couple of the little guys left, but they’ll be heading south soon I would think.
We were amazed at … We were amazed at their aggressiveness. One we nick-named ‘Spike’ had a favorite perch on a spine in the pine tree, to protect “his” personal feeder. lol
Real nice my wife … Real nice my wife puts out feeders for these birds as well.
While I may not share the same level of enthusiasm it was a nice vid and the hum of their wings brings back the feeling of being dive bombed on my front porch. Which I don’t mind.
