It’s hanging in the shade & is red, but nothing else around it is red & no flowers or bushes are near it. Please advise…

You need to use Sugar Water homemade mix. 1 cup sugar to 4 cups water. My feeders are not near anything red and the birds are draining them daily

place some artificial flowers nearby or get some hanging plants with colorful flowers, plant a rose bush, butterfly bush or something really fragrant.tie a red bandana or handkerchief to the top of the feeder.it’s still early in the year and it may take a while if they aren’t used to finding food in your area.
